Certainly it is the little girl in your life who might be fascinated by the idea of a canopy bed. From the moment she first read a fairytale or say a Disney movie they have probably fallen in love with the idea of being a princess and having their own beautiful bed to sleep in. what else would sleeping beauty lay in other than a canopy bed?
Personally I'm not a big fan of the gaudy themed canopy bedding that you can buy online. There is such a wealth of beautiful fabrics out there to choose from that will allow you and your girl to create your own completely unique canopy curtains. Choose the fabric together then make it up into curtains with your sewing machine and you will have something that she will love forever. And what's more she will learn the skills of making something with her own fair hands.
